About the Island

According to available reference books Jegindø is a small island in the western part of the Limfjord. The island is approx. 6 kilometers long and 3 kilometres wide. It covers a total area of 1970 acres of land. There are 389 inhabitants. There is one church, one harbour and one nonconformist chapel.

On the island there are no heights, no woods and neither streams nor ponds. You will find no hotel, no cinema, no discotheque, no bars, no ancient monuments of any find. In short nothing. NOTHING!

You better hurry up and leave this place!

…or maybe you should stay and take a closer look at what the reference books don’t care to mention ?
