According to available reference books Jegindø is a small island in the western part of the Limfjord. The island is approx. 6 kilometers long and 3 kilometres wide. It covers a total area of 1970 acres of land. There are 540 inhabitants. There is one church, one harbour and one nonconformist chapel. The island has a bank and a shop; but apart from that the only other trades are agriculture and fishing. |
